I've been doing that. Believe me, it's not what I'd rather be doing. I have that journal to catch up with in History104, I have a report on trench warfare I need to write before the *man* comes and gets me for that class. I have to write an index card of notes for a test on monday for a subject I haven't even studied yet! Crap. I have 1 more report to write for a book I still haven't read because it's as boring as heck. Help me. Please. Help me.

My beautiful skies are tainted red with your blood dripping as if rain from a pleasant Sunday morning. It’s not pleasant is it? With that wicked smile on your pristine face I can’t help but note you are no longer my friend. This reason alone is why my hand is pressed against that slender throat of yours. Like magic I absorb your life, adding years to my own.



And yet my vision blurs further.



Sweet serenity I buckle to my knees before your very corpse and prayer for an absolution. I meant no harm. It was your smile! The razor sharp teeth the clicked and clattered with laughter. The snarl on your lips that put years of age on your face as you tore apart our very world with your own hatred.



My hands touch your unmoving chest, hoping that it would rise. It doesn’t. Unsure what to do I hold my hands away. These fingers, evolved to be dynamic, to hold, to grip, to embrace; and yet these hands killed. I sob and bend forward. Forgive me my friend, my enemy.



It was then I realized that my vision was blurred not by your death or your own blood that seemed to beat into my own ears. It had nothing to do with you at all. It was me. That was my own blood. No one told me…

No one told me you can see your own death just before it happens.
