It's all very complex how Vampirism really works out, and even I don't fully know what's going on, so yea...

Well this is all pretty interesting stuff.
I can't say I've had any encounters like that, and neither of my parents are like me either I know, so I'm different.
So, yes, I'm glad I could explain things a bit more for you, and hopefully you'll get a little more of a grasp on your ability now.
Right now from what it's looking like, I'd think I could label you a Sanguinarian, since you seem to crave blood more than anything else.

The way I see it, we don't need to have parents who are Vampires like us. The "Vampire" part of us is in my view (and several others' ) a "gene" that remains recessive most of the time until it comes out every few generations or so. In other words, either of your parents could be carriers of the Vampire gene, it just became dominant in you. Vampires only happen every few generations or so, so if you have children, they'll most likely end up being normal people.

You should also consider yourself lucky, it's a heavy burden being a hybrid. Needing to feed on both blood and aura, it gets to be quite the pain...

Oh no it has nothing to do with that. Anyways, the seeing people that aren't really there? That's interesting, sounds to me like you're making contact with the spiritual realm.
There are various spirits all around us, and seeing them is nothing abnormal, especially for our kind. It seems freaky at first but you get used to it.
As for me, my best ability is predicting the future. Sometimes I just know things will happen and then they do...So yea, generally our kind (while they don't have super powers they DO have certain "Special abilities" ) we can have certain minor "abilities". Cases I've seen were being able to see a person when you're not even in the same room as them, you could be miles away and the person could tell you exactly what you're wearing, how you're sitting, and where you are. Another case is foresight (What I believe I could be getting), the ability to predict or see an event coming. And finally, the one I See that you may have: Spiritual communication. This one's rare, you should feel lucky. More often I see people with foresight like me.

Anyways, to answer your question: A "hybrid" vampire is one who feeds on both blood and aura energy.
See, some vampires feed only on blood, we call those "Sanguinarians", and others feed only on energy, and we call those "Psychic Vampires" so yes, there's three different kinds of Vampires. Know that well. It's standard vampire facts.

Oh definitely...You know blood isn't the only source for energy right?
You can absorb the aura or manipulate it from other people. Of course though you knew that right?
Energy can be manipulated in many ways..it all depends on how it's used..

Try channeling energy from others into yourself, it works sometimes, but not quite as satisfying as blood. Still, it works if you can't get your hands on any blood
At least if you're a hybrid like me anyways..
