Naruto wasn't selfish, he wants what's best for Sakura and he always tries to push her in the right direction. Sakura was the one that lied, she had good intentions, because she wanted to stop Naruto from going after Sasuke and getting hurt. But still, she lied about romantically loving him, maybe she loves him in other ways but not romantically. Her reaction when Naruto pushed her away showed that. Later she didn't want to stab Sasuke from behind because she got to remember how he thanked her. In chapter 540 she was still thinking about Sasuke in romantic context, it was even a bigger proof that she lied.
NS fans are always pain in the a**, like they understand this manga in another unexplainable way. That's why they're so shocked now and can't deal with the truth in front of them.

It's okay. Don't ask me about NaruSaku because I'm not seeing it myself. Since Naruto saw Sasuke and Sakura together when she hugged him in the hospital he was sad probably but smiled later. He always wanted what's best for both of them and wouldn't want to butt in between them just to get what he wants. He even 'reminded' Sakura that she loves Sasuke when she falsely confessed to him. All I saw Naruto doing was try to invite Sakura on dates, which I'm not sure he did from romantic intent but to keep her company because she was looking so sad all the time. Naruto always treated her like a sister in my eyes, he still needed someone who will truly love him and Hinata was always there.
Chapter 540 confirmed that Sakura is still in love with Sasuke, she said that she can't return that guy's feelings because she's already in love with someone else. And then Sasuke appeared in the back of her head when the guy left. So yeah, she still loves him. NS fans still say she's disgusted of loving him because she was sad at the moment. But she still doesn't give up and believes in Sasuke, it's what she said after he tried to kill her. So I believe her love is really strong and she'll eventually get to Sasuke's heart somehow.

Canny Sakura

Mostly part 1 of the manga, where Sasuke made Sakura think about her actions and become better and same the other way around. Sasuke regained his will to fight when she told him a few words of wisdom. He noticed when something was bothering her and cheered her up. Loved how he said "even you" what could give her an idea that she's important for him and she was. Because he said he didn't want to lose an important person again. Scenes like that when he left the village and said "Thank You" were touching. I know this couple has it's bad sides, because in part 2 he tried to kill her but Sakura's undying love and affection for him and the development of part 1 show that Kishi's trying to go somewhere with this couple. Now when NH is close to being canon it's even a bigger possibility for SS.

Heyy. I have a 80-something wiz on Harshlands (and a 80-something cleric on Lost City), but I have not played in forever. How is everything on there? I quit playing years ago when the game got so much easier for cash shoppers and everybody else was left in the dust.. Lol. Some awesome times, though. <3
