Without answering, he had pulled her thin body against her, holding her in a lover's embrace. He gently pressed his pale lips against her own. Breathless, his lips marched kisses from her lips, to her left cheek, to her jugular. He clearly accepted her offer.

"It's gotten so bad that I can't even get a good meal. Every time I go out to the cattle fields, the demons go out and slaughter them!" Lucian nearly fell over, clearly fatigued. Not wanting to lose face, he quickly stood back up and hide his weakness with his ever confident smirk. "But I'll be fine."

"They're like rats and roaches," he shrugged, not seeing the inherent irony of calling demons vermin. "They got into the castle. Easily fought off of course. I mean who can stand up to me?" Putting emphasis on his physic, Lucian caressed his exposed chest. "But they keep coming! Can't even get a good day's sleep without them coming in and banging on my casket! They kept spouting some nonsense about Great Beast. Sounded like some sexual innuendo to me. I HAVE a great beast. Ha!"
