Life is unfair, often unpleasant, and yet, too brief. Each of us is responsible for making life as pleasant as possible by treating each other with kindness and respect.
My expectations of myself are high. I often fall short of them, but keep trying.
The closet thing I have to a religion is my worship of poetry.

The title of my journal was selected because it was the first word I put my finger on after turning to a page at random after picking up the nearest book at hand (<i>The Sandman: The Dream Hunters</i>, page 60).
