Heti would go the kid-friendly streets trick or treating with the kids from the orphanage. All the kiddos would dress up as little ducklings and Heti would dress up as a adult duck. He would try to get Ryu into a matching 'couple' duck costume but he wouldn't have it. But then a lady that worked with kids would offer to and go out with Heti and the kids and then Ryu would be all like - um, NO, You're not wearing a couple costume with my wolf. Hand over that feathered costume.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN GUMDROP

I don't think their culture celebrates Halloween but if they did every year would be the same. Heti would be scared of all the haunted decorations and would cling on Ryu and be like - no no, carry me. I'm not walking over all these fake dead people. Can we go back to the kid safe street? I don't like this Holiday, TAKE ME BACK HOME ;n;

I'm thinking Hetis dad was a doctor, one that worked for the upperclass/castle members. Having a son from a affair was shameful, yes, but what got him kicked down to the lowest class I was thinking after his wife died he misused some of his own medical supplies, when found out he was no longer able to be a doctor and had to move to the lower class area, publicly humiliated when he sobered up he releaized how he had disgraced his family and that burden slowly ate away at him over the years depsite the many times he tried to blame someone else, when Heti was found to be the wolf he would try to convince his son that he needed to redeem the family name (but more personally he wanted redemption himself, like 'if you make it them somehow I will be okay'

The more I think about it the more I think he treated Heti very selfishly. It wasn't so much as loving Heti as his son and wanting him to succeed, but he saw the wolf as a chance to redeem what he had stained.(himself, the family name) So he tried to put the burden and responsibility of his sins upon his son.

Heti grew up in the outermost part, Ryu grew up in the innermost (where the castle is)

Also, Heti should have been been more injured by Ryus fire, so I'm giving him a burn scar down his part of his shoulder and back. 0 n 0 but he probably never told Ryu it burned him that much.

Speaking of the settlement, I'm thinking its kind of like in Snk (but without the giant walls, and not as large) but that it is sectioned off into three parts and each part is where one of the three social classes live, though they are free to visit other parts.

Hmmm, I'd rather keep him in the settlement, Aedus is probably bitter towards his father for basically neglecting them, I'm not sure how Heti feels

No, Heti is the first wolf in about 100 years. His father was just a normal beast. I'm thinking, that after whatever he did to knock his family down so low, he began sort of slowly losing it and becoming disconnected. (So it was basically Aedus that raised Heti) and when he found out Heti was the wolf he probably put a lot of pressure on him, that he had to be good and perfect and strong, sort of seeing The wolf as a possible redemption for himself. So one moment he was probably begging him to be good and the next he was blaming Heti for why there family is like this, and that he had to make up for it. So for years Heti burdened himself and blamed himself for anything that had or did go wrong in his family, he probably just recently learned how to release that.

Also, while I'm brainstorming in your comments, Heti has never felt 'seen' by anyone but Ryu. What I mean is, he felt invisible, that everyone just saw wolf, but no one really saw the person harboring the beast. There was probably a moment when they were young that Heti was unsure of Ryu and probably yelled at him that he didn't want him to be friends with him just because he was suppose to. This probably came from realizing that Falon set them up together, and also why else would Ryu want to be friends with him? Since surely he was (beside being the wolf) a embarrassment, since they are both from very different social classes.

I was thinking about Hetis dad and I'm thinking he's probably alive, but has been slowly losing his mind over the years or something so he doesn't see him much. Part of me wonders if Heti is really his son, since there really wasn't any proof.
