Thank you for your kind words! And haha yes, exactly. I hate falling behind on things because I just don't feel like talking at all. But I think most people I regularly communicate with on this site are understanding and I definitely extend that same consideration and patience to them too.
And then it's hard because cats can't tell a person what's wrong with them and then they actively try to hide what's wrong with them too. orz I'm sure your cat was very loved and well-cared for! Mine were from a litter was that was abandoned by their mother so they survived solely because we'd taken them in. But yeah, it's definitely hard to think in those terms because, to me at least, it feels insignificant because they're not around anymore. It's still tough for me to refer to them in past tense.
It also didn't help that the tortie cat here (who was picked to help my cat and my roommate cope with their grief over losing my cat's brother) didn't take to the kittens at all lol. But the kittens weren't meant to replace anyone and neither was she. Tortie cat gave my cat something else to think about at least, even if she'd never replace his brother. But yeah, I was upset over feeling like I was replacing my best friend and then complicating the other cat's living situation as well. orz

That's all right! I wondered how you were doing but couldn't think of anything else to say lol. My health hasn't been great this year and have only started feeling more social again pretty recently.
I'm sorry to hear that. It does get better but even over a year later it can still hit me pretty hard at times. I guess we have to try to keep in mind that we gave them good lives and did all we could but to me it still doesn't seem like enough and probably won't for the foreseeable future. orz As illogical as that is, but feelings often are haha. But yeah, I hope you're doing okay. And yeah, for the most part even my parents hadn't really had to handle a situation like that before. My dad maybe but my mom didn't at all when she lost pets. Her parents just handled it for her.
On a more positive note, while doing treatments for my neck we'd visit Petsmart afterwards and kept visiting the same cats and eventually my roommate got them heh. I was upset for a long while afterwards because I felt like I was replacing my best friend though that's not true. And the lady that handled the adoption was impressed with just how long my cats had lived. Which I suppose is a fair point but it's hard to feel good about the past tense I guess. The little one (on the left, even though that picture makes her look big lol) is obsessed with and possessive of me haha. Though I haven't been around kittens (they're just over a year old now) in so long it's definitely different than what I'm used to lol.

That dentist office also had a really nice hygienist when I was first in which finally made me care more about my teeth. :3 They weren't bad or anything but with hygienists and dentists that just scold it doesn't help anything. Now I floss every day and brush my teeth after tea and so on. I'm envious of my roommate because it seems like his teeth never stain lol. But I don't wanna give up the tea so brushing afterwards is just necessary haha. orz

I have to wonder how people make avatars without some sort of focus. XD Though I suppose those are the people that have much bigger inventories than we do. XDDD I don't have a lot of colorful items in my inventory aside from hair but with how they promote items lately it seems like items I'd like on monochrome are never recolored that way so I just suck it up and get the originals. So there's some colorful items that've made it into my avatar in that way heh. But yeah, most people like all sorts of different color schemes so they must have huge inventories. Though I guess, even with an inventory of my size it tends to be a relaxing method of problem solving to try to make the best avatars I can. :V
Yeah, I always hesitate and second guess recommending anything because I don't want to be that person. XDDD But I don't suggest often and it's always with the person I'm suggesting to in mind so hopefully that makes it better? XD And yessss, I remember that video! Yeah, I don't think my inventory is all that big comparatively either though I've collected a thousand more items since I started actively posting in Word Games? rofl I think I only had 300-400 items before that lol. I definitely have to be trying to use an item pose in particular or aiming for a specific theme otherwise it's just too overwhelming. I feel like I just kept sticking to the same avatar base and eventually ended up with a character due to being pulled into roleplays. XD I make Black Jack cosplays too; this is another account I use a fair amount. XD I should compile them into a thread in my guild haha.
