I actually find Cather's narration to be a little bit like Tolkein's. They have to describe every single atom that makes up the scenery. It gets boring, but in some of Cather's novels, there's church corruption. Nishin loves church corruption. I didn't want to do a novel on WWII because it's getting boring. I wanted to do a historical mystery, but my teacher wouldn't let me. Nishin sad...



I'm even procrastinating as much as possible. It's a pain...

Mine's for English, but it's really a history paper. I have to decide whether or not a historical fiction novel is historically accurate. Ugh, I could kick myself for picking Willa Cather. Love her novels, but Southwest American history is all drab and no fascination to me.
