Cat's wakeup is hazy, foggy. Slight pain at her side, why can't she move, there was so much screaming and there was Spider and Stark and Soldier all there wanting her to fight for them...Was that part of the dream? She remembers shame, and anger. Redness, heat, pain. Her eyes open, and she grins, more of a tired automatic response than actual amusement. "Whozzat?" She reaches slowly forwards for the blurred face before her eyes. "Hey, say sumfin."

The surgeon looked uneasy, naturally. "More lives than mine and hers at stake here." He said very, very quietly. "Kill me and there's a lot of people that will suffer for it." Moving slowly, he stepped towards Black Cat, who had smiled slightly, wondering at Winter's protectiveness, then grimaced as the doctor slowly lifted her onto a table. "Put your gun down and help me hold her."

Limited anesthesia. "We'll get the bullet out and close the wound." A long finger trailed in the would for a moment and Cat hissed. "I don't think it hit anything vital, so she was lucky."

"Thanks." Felicia's voice is quiet as she's carried to the hospital. The entire place is chaos, there are so many injuries rolling in that supplies are limited and the staff can't get to everyone-only the most desperate cases are being seen and of those, only some make it out in optimal condition.

Cat's posture is tense, pained, even though she's not having to move. "I don't think they're gonna see me, Soldier."

((XD That would be sad. I might be a little upset. 'Course, I'm just trying my darndest to mess things up more, aren't I? ))

"No of course not dearest..." *She says soothingly then suddenly her tone changes and becomes hard* "I'm just going to break him." *She moves from the chair to sit on the side of his bed* "Then you and I can play all you like but I warn you, you'll be spending quite a bit of time in this bed afterwards."
