I guess they'd rather just not use the paper or resources if they can do it themselves. XP
I mean, I think it would cost money to tell people through other means (though maybe not internet, unless it was like a completely new site).
But that's true, it is very awkward, but it's better you found out somehow than just never know I suppose.

Unless you did one of those sex offender searches anyway, that shows you how many are in like a 10 mile radius or something. ._.
But those searches can be REALLY scary. xP

Or they see it and they don't care.
Just this week some kid brought a gun to the rival school of the one I used to go to.
The gun was actually SHOT. It was a complete miracle no one was it.
The kid didn't mean for it to go off, but low and behold, he just wanted to be cool with it and had no idea how to us it at all.
Guns aren't cool, they never have been, never will be. Kids/teens need to get that.
