Yeah, since we're not going to have time to go anywhere north, we can beat the heat for a bit by going to the magnet of cool, Mt Fuji.
Remember that I've got a washer (though no dryer) so you can totally do laundry. Also be careful about the liquids you plan to bring on the plane! Restrictions and all.
Mmm, I went to the beach this weekend and it was lovely. Maybe we'll make it out there together.
Where we are going, there shall be plenty of postcards. The hard part is figuring out who gets what postcard from where!
Also, I have discovered something wonderful. It shall remain a surprise until you get here. The only thing I shall tell you is I hope you sleep on the plane, at least a bit. We will have to get a Starbucks once you get in. biggrin
Did I tell you we are going to Mt Fuji for 3 days? We'll be staying at a friend's house with a bunch of people, and they're going to be going around and seeing sights, so we can join them. And it means nice Japanese home cooking, which I look forward to!
The Japanese summer is late, but here it comes! The wind and rain is finally dying down in favor of muggy, humid, sweltering heat. We've had some clouds, but those things aren't going to last. The bugs are starting to come out, too, so that's a bit of an issue I'm fighting. I had a stag beetle land on my knee and ride around with me for a bit an hour ago. I was not happy to find it.
Stag beetles are called kabuto, and if I was more courageous, I could have bottled it and sold it for about $5 to a kid. Darn.
haha I think that's 'a leaf blowing in the wind' just kidding a leaf on the wind works too haha how's it goin, rockin the sc3 out? you should rally the troops, let me know when I'll make time
