Okay, now my sound is working and I think that it showed how a lot of African girls would rather be white than black. I think that just because you look, talk, or even believe differently you are the same as anyone else. I think that it is so stupid to judge people by their appearances. It makes me feel sick just to think about it. I am ghostly white, and all my friends in the summer get really deep tans. Sometimes I wish I could just be dark, like the girls in the movie wish they could be white.
When my grandma was little her best friend was an African child named Claudia. They were irreplacale to each other, but then one day my grandma's mother said,"You can't play with her anymore, Janice." My grandma asked why. Her mother replied " She is different, she ives differently, she is black." After that, my grandma never listened to her mother again, infact she ran away when she was 13 years old.
I am completely 100% not agreeing with prejudice behaiors, that is my feeling, and I am proud of it.[.

Ok its a movie showcasing the stero tyeps of black people. Which arent true, though some times funny. Been their and seen it, im open minded about just everything. So I really dont care to take sterotypes to seriously. I think at times their a funny metaphor but other then that their just how some people a cerint race, religon so on and so forht. It wont change ever so people should really learn to deal with it.

I know! So many people think that everything is good and dandy and that people have changed, but we haven't. And stuff like this perpetuate the stereotypes even more. So while people say their stuff and put people in a catagory, we are also falling for it and think it's okay to be a stereotype. Like, for example, they say African Americans are loud, always goofy, can't read well, can't write well, can never good good-paying jobs, always in debt, and other stuff. Yet I'm an African American and I can read very well, speak well, and other stuff. But then you hear people ask, "Why do you talk 'white'?" We fall for it and it seems that the minority who are trying to branch out and think OUTSIDE of society, we are labeled freaks, geeks, and other stuff that means 'different from society' tp me.

No matter what you look like you are always going to face prejudice. I was always told I was too white, too fat, I wore glasses, had braces and loved science in high school so I was called a geek. I still get all of those things. Now because I dress differently from the majority I get even more stuff. Finding out about youself if not only about where you come from but trying to understand how to ignore those things which you know are said out if spite and hearing the things which are said from the heart. All of the girls in that video were pretty - regardless of how light or dark their skin was.

I've taken classes on this kind of thing and watched the movie that is associated with this. Its sick how people think that color is what seperates us. Anyone has the ability to surpass each other its the motive to do so what seperates us. People should stop being so judgemental on skin/color/race and whatever else there is..
