Gaia Online can be a complex site if you're not exactly sure what you're looking for. Barton Town is one of the main "chat rooms" under Forums, which you can access by going to Gaia's toolbar at the top of the page, hover your mouse on Community, and click directly on Forums. The second batch of categories is called Gaia Community, which includes Barton Town, Gaia's main interstate to RP-centered "chat rooms" or threads. There are sub-categories in Barton Town as well-- leave it to Gaia to include onions inside of onions, layers atop layers of people chatting. lol
Feel free to ask me anything. I've been around Gaia for a couple of years or so, so I can help if you get confused about any part of the site. 3nodding

Well I haven't RPed for a while but Barton Town has a bunch of RPing going on. I think 1-on-1's tend to be better there because that's where the better, more creative rpers go when they become frustrated with people who have no creativity, let alone writing skills. I haven't really tried GMing before. I think I was nearly given the chance but the players fizzled on me. If I logged on more consistently (ie. daily instead of sporadically during the week) I'd totally be down for a story.
Yeah, writing is fantastic for creativity. I hope you never let that passion dwindle.

I had the wedding of Megalord and Juliet saved somewhere I think. I honestly have no idea where. I was there for social interaction, too. I've never been much for fighting IC. OOC, I argue something fierce when I get passionate about something. (I'm not saying I'm good at it; I just get into it. lol) I tried to RP a little on Gaia, but there's too many rules-- character sheets that need to be approved prior to interacting, spells and history already developed-- see, I like developing my character slowly, a personality being followed by a story, abilities, etc. I've never been into the tabletop thing-- just storytelling. I used to love writing. Now... all I write are crappy essays that are supposed to adhere to MLA format, but hell if I'll ever get a manual for that!

Well, I've only played Dark Elf and Human. Humans get a helmet, a crowbar, a stop sign shield, and a smoke bomb. Dark Elves get shoulder hear, a tierra type thingie, an aura (like the one I have), and a javelin looking thingie. I know... such technical terms. lmfao.
