No, Amy will be either alive, but dying, and allowing Alexei to talk to her one more time. She could help him with the little time that she has left catch up with what he missed as being a father. Then, maybe Jack begins to see that Alexei is doing better with his children as time progresses, and finally completely trusts him to take care of them (somewhere around here is when the next conflict might happen, if that works out).
