In wish I could keep them long but they make things difficult because I can never resist the urge to bite them short. By the time the weekend is over, these things are probably gonna be gone. Just wearing them for the slutty bedroom factor. Matt loves them. And there's the Metal Church concert tomorrow night & we're going to a retirement party for one of Matt's coworkers. I'm already having hell typing this message on my phone, so these nails aren't gonna last. Good thing my blog posts are scheduled automatically go through this weekend. There's no way I'd type with these things on.

Your bummy brother should be helping with the lawn. Poor 'Ree. Lawns are not exactly lady work if you want to keep your hands pretty. Are your nails natural? When I have long nails they are always fake. I bite my nails when my anxiety flares up.

Trees & flowers are starting to bloom here so we're heading into the dreadful allergy season too. I love how nice it looks outside when everything is in bloom, but ugh, soon after there will be a coating of yellow pollen on virtually everything. gonk

You hit the nail on the head there, babe. I don't get the cultural possessiveness either. As for myself, I'm not one for censorship & sanitation. Sure, there needs to be SOME limits, but i cannot stand the though of treating the entire world as if they are impressionable children that need extreme protection from adult life.

I started reading the thread. And what I don't understand is why so many people want to bubble-wrap the world around them? And it's beyond this "triggering" thing. It's the being ultra sanitized, ultra politically correct, "give the kid a trophy for trying" nonsense that bugs me. You cannot wrap everything in cotton candy floss. The world can be a brutal place. People need to learn to be equipped to handle it.

Ouchies! Have you tried voice to text software? I use Dragon Naturally Speaking when I use my desktop. And I use the voice text on my phone when I don't feel like typing like I am right now. It saves wear and tear on the hands and wrists.
