“It’s on the back of our rings right?” Auska moved off of him so he could stand up as she did and they began to walk.
“Yeah, I’ve been doing research about it lately after I noticed, because my I took my ring off in the shower and set it on the sink, when I got out and was putting it back on I noticed the words. Anyways, turns out The Bleeding Heart Association, or the BHA was started back when the school was founded but died out after the students running gave up and broke apart. It was a pretty important Association if it was documented like in that book. Seems like the first founder of it was Rakitsu. The thing is it can only be started on November 5th on a girls birthday and when it’s a full moon. Auska, I want to start this back up, to try and carry on what my father started. The thing is though, if I mess up...the your body could be torn ap-“ Auska held his hand tighter stopping and looking up at him sincerely.
“I trust you Dante, if it’s what you want I’ll help you. Can you tell me more though?” She began to walk again toward Alati.
“Well...um...it was made as a present from my mother to my father, he’s the one who started the promise rings. I remember when I was little the first time I met you, you were such a klutz, you fell on your face and scrapped your knee, rakitsu had to carry you in and bandaged you up. He always took care of you when miko left you over there. They were close, I think that’s why Miko decided to keep taking care of us when Rakitsu died, he payed for our house, he made sure we didn’t go hungry, but as time went on Auska I saw less and less of you, since you lived at your house during the school years and not with Miko. During the summer’s though you never came out so we never knew you were there, but I’m glad you’re here with me now...” he felt his cheeks grow hot and he looked back, but she wasn’t there. “Dammit, I tell someone how I feel and they don’t even hear it! Where’d she run off too? That b*****d Damian better not have he-“
”Leave me alone!” Auska’s voice was a soft scream over through some thick trees.
“Aw c’mon girly it won’t hurt, you shoudn’t be alone anyways if you aren’t willingly to may the consequen-“ Dante punched him square in the jaw knocking him back away from her.
“What the hell!? Who are you!?Can’t you see we were in the the middle of something!?” He went at Dante with a knife. Dante grabbed his wrist pulling it behind his back and kneeing him deeply in the stomach, he coughed up blood before Dante pushed him down flat to the ground with his foot on his back.
“And if you ever come close to her again, I will kill you, I should kill you know...actaully that’s not a bad idea...but then you’d be getting off to easy I think I’ll do something worse...”He raised his hand up a glowing purple chain bound around the attackers body, then red liquid rain down on them. “The were wolves and Vampires will be here to get you now that you’re drenched in blood.” Her grabbed auska into his arm sprouting black wings he jumped up into the air still holding her flying over the forest and setting down on the roof of an abandoned house on the outskirts of Alati.
“Dante...than-“
“Why’d you run off like that!? If I wasn’t there no telling what could’ve happened to you! You need to stay with me when it’s dark and we’re going through there!” Auska stepped back from him he let oyut a low sigh. “Auska it’s just that, I have to protect you but I can’t do that if you’re always running off on your own...”
“I know but...”
“I won’t always be around to help you. You need to know that. Huh!?” He felt her roun into his arms grabbing onto his shirt and softly crying. He wrapped his arms around her embracing her gently.
