Yeah, but it turned out great! My family thought it was a huge accomplishment that I could move on to something so advanced with virtually no cooking experience. It came to me naturally, and the Yakisoba was delightfully spicy, while the cake was so sweet that I got seconds. X3 A perfect combination!

I'm a bit nervous since I've never attempted it before, but my excitement to trying it out overrules that. We just got back from the store a few minutes ago. I'm a bit ticked off that we couldn't find everything we needed (For some strange reason we have no Asian grocery store, and the Asian food section is sadly limited in their supplies), an example is that we needed pickled red ginger for the garnish of the Yakisoba, but the closest thing we could find was powdered ginger. -.-" We also couldn't get any seaweed without buying a sushi kit.
