Oh thanks for the helpful advice by the way.

I discovered a place called Astor Wine and Spirits that sells a few different kinds of absinthe, so I'm probably gonna go there tomorrow and have a look see.


They have free wine and spirit tasting, and if you buy something you taste you get 15% off!

and yeah I'm excited the place looks HUGE :O

Oh I was thinking of trying some absinthe now that it's legal here.

After significant research, I'm split between La Clandestine and Obsello.

Do you have a favorite brand to recommend?

Lol... I hated the one at my father's house, thing was a rotten b*****d. This one isn't too terrible, and even if it was... It came with the place, and I can't get rid of it. Dx Ah well. Life goes on... and it's not the worst. The cover was, but it, generally, isn't as bad as it could be. :3

It was indeed, an unfun experience. 3nodding I started sewing covers for my couch, because it's a futon, and it's just an ugly bare mattress after I got rid of the awful 'velveteen' cover that shed and made everything else in the room pink. D: I have sheets on it for now, but I'm trying to make something NICE looking.

I agree. I can't sleep in any more... Uni starts tomorrow. Dx Only good portent is that dinner tonight is free. Welll, and that I'm finally nearing completion of both of my couch covers. Considering one of them I both started and finished today, though, I'm feeling chipper. x3 Well. That and the shock from the wall earlier. Unplugged something and the metal bit fell and hit my hand and JIAO. o_o

Oh I dunno about that, they're still ginger. xp Sleep is good. I was woke from a nap this morning, and then the gal had the poor grace to get lost. I could have slept a whole hour more! D:

I second that notion. There are certain aspects of Communism that would apply really well to the whole world if we could get past that 'Red Scare' stuff. Oh McCarthy, you've ******** us for eternity.
Is it humid there? It's ridiculous here, and it encourages me to do very little and feel very accomplished when I've gone to market and had three conversations in a foreign language.

I locked myself in with my mule a few days ago, though I haven't found a thread that piques my interest yet today.
Which I suppose is okay.
I whimpered about not wanting to cook dinner and am being rewarded with pizza. Which makes me feel like a small, and very spoiled child.

It was pretty much a monotonous process. ._. I don't like that event very much.
Best part was finding a few decent threads with a few decent people.
And hopefully not being slaughtered chatting.
