Thus the unholy alliance between Jounin sensei and Academy sensei was made. Two teachers, one a top Jounin of Konoha, and the other a former hostage rescue specialist and Konoha’s finest academy teacher, united under the dark banner of ‘learning through pain’.

During the precious half a minute while Iruka left to open the door, Kakashi pondered over his experience with what he decided to call ‘the Iruka Effect’. If Ibiki ever recruits Iruka, Konoha will have near 100 percent interrogation success rate. I can almost see it: Iruka asking questions all friendly like, and the prisoner screaming ‘Interrogate me properly! PROPERLY, you bastards!’ before the poor sod crumbles— bwahahahaha…!
