I'm an artist at heart. Just about any type of "art" that you can think of, I have either dabbled in, do regularly, have an interest in, or at the very least respect it. I also seem to have a natural talent for many different arts (i.e. painting, computer graphics, writing, sculpting)
One of my greatest passions now is Ballroom Dancing. Yes, you read right... Ballroom Dancing. I know a mix of American Smooth, American Rhythm, and Latin for the most part. Slow Waltz, Tango, and Swing (generally triple time) are my three favorites. But I also know Viennese Waltz (very minor), Foxtrot, Cha-cha, Samba, Rumba, Bolero, Mambo, Salsa, Merengue, and have even picked up the Hustle. I’ve only been dancing since the beginning of ’06, so I am still very new and inexperienced as I don’t get to go as often as I would like. But I’m learning and the group I dance with generally is always so helpful with teaching me new moves. But don’t ask me for the names of the moves, I just know to follow when I get led haahah.
I'm learning to play the guitar now. I have always wanted to be able to, so I could write music for the lyrics I write, but never was taught and now that I have a guitar of my own, I have a friend that is teaching me slowly. I love it. ^_^
I’m hoping to get into fencing very soon. Like Ballroom Dancing, I’ve always loved watching it and as I’ve found dancing to be one of my greatest passions now, I figure it may be a good idea to at least look into and try out fencing. It may be a little while off before I’m able to actually start lessons, but it is something that I am interested in and striving to find out about.
I'm in love with just about every Tim Burton movie I have seen. If I don't love it, I at very least found it an awesome movie.
I adore the 80s. The cartoons were worth watching, the music was interesting and crazy, and it was a great era to grow up in.
I am a PROUD girl gamer! I’ve played various games throughout my life. Starting off Retro style with the good old Atari! Which turned into playing Nintendo (Mario rocks my socks!), to Sega (Sonic spins me right round Baby right round) and it’s variants, to Playstation (I will tag team you into submission with my mad Tekken skills and the Panda of Death and break dancing Eddie!), and then… I got mixed in with computer games. From Serious Sam and Doom, to Alice, to Neverwinter Nights, to World of Warcraft, I enjoy my MMORPG the most. Although I’ve taken back to playing PS2 a bit more as I’ve found a passion for Guitar Hero and I adore Kingdom Hearts and I have recently discovered the joys of playing the Bone Daddy himself, Jack Skellington! But no matter what system you hand me… I am a gamer, I love playing my games.
