I know I can be a rather peculiar guy, but perhaps I've enthralled you enough to sojourn my profile. Chat me up whenever; good conversation is always appreciated.
Oh wow!! I didn't even realize you were the last to comment!
I go on gaia once every week or so when I get terribly bored. But maybe I'll check back a little more often if my old friend (you) is back on!
I'd love to catch up! Now, where to start.....it's been a year or so!
Happy 4th of July, you American. smile
Haha. "We milk our bison"....it's funny 'cause I'm sure there's farmers who actually would....and "It's called the Celine Dione." These are priceless. smile
and awwwe. smile that is cute!!
Okay, but the BEST thing is when you're in America, say you're from Canada and you get a "Hey, I have a second-cousin-once-removed who lives up there! Do you by any chance know a Suzy so-and-so??" it's funny as in it happens ALL THE TIME. XD and when you guys say eh for us. It's funny. smile
Hey, so I read this steretype thingy on Americans and Canadians and it said that you guys don't usually thank your bus drivers!! Fact or Fiction?? razz
Oh my, and you guys say "beaner" instead of "toque," right? And usually "soda" instead of "pop"?? and "couch" instead of "chesterfield," although we only say the last one sometimes. smile.....and "sneakers" for "runners??" And do you guys ever hear "bunnyhug" rather than "hoodie?" it's a Saskatchewan term, but being in Alberta we hear it all the time....Oh and so I was in Arizona last summer and a girl called your natives"Indians." -- Like, is that okay down there?? Cause I was shocked as here if you say that you're being extremely racist!!
Haah, did you ever watch Due South?? With the Mountie who goes down to Chicago to work with the police force down there?? BEST Canadian show ever. smile It's not made anymore, but watch it if you get the chance!!
its ok...we all have our faults. jk jk..i stlil love canada/ canadians.
i have to say though i felt kind of bad for vancouver...mainly just because it was on home ice....and also because some were crying sad
also...randome question...i was watching a show called cash cab (tv game show that takes place in this guys cab) and one of the questions was about a "slur word" that is offencive to canadians...the answer was Canucks... is that really considered a slur word/ offencive?
Haha. What happened in Vacouver was stupid.....although the city is all pitching in to try and clean up and stuff now. So that makes it slightly better...And you SHOULD love Canadians! I mean, obsessive BBQ/slurpee-in-the-winter-connoisseurs, a dictionary that put "u's" in all the words you Americans try to leave them out of, and people who show off by immitating elk calls.....what's not to love?? razz
Haha. If people can't handle losing then they shouldn't be winning anyway..... but yeah, I did want them to win on home ice. And I'm pretty sure the Canucks were way more talented than Boston, the Bruines just played rougher/meaner.
And no it's not usually offencive. I asked my dad too and he says it's just a term. I've never heard it used badly before.
Haha, watch this. Education at it's finest. biggrin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhTZ_tgMUdo
Don't even get me started. It's terrible what they're doing. It's emberassing to the whole country and REALLY immature. Ugghhh!! Be scared! You know that whole polite thing? Haha apparently it all goes down the drain as soon as a hockey game gives us an excuse to break things! rolleyes
razz And I forgot to answer about the 'eh' thing!! Haha, it's so useful, I don't know how you Americans get by without it.....and then it's funny trying to remember to say it when around Americans...but the best thing is when Americans people try and say it. 'Cause it doesn't always work for you guys. smile
I know. If I wasn't Canadian OR American and didn't have any ties to either team I would likely be cheering for Boston. I didn't see them doing this well. And I'm kinda hoping for a game 7 after tonight....I also would rather Vancouver win here rather than in Boston.
Haha. Math pick up lines are the best. I'm a calc nerd for life.
Haha, and yeah I got that impression from your country when I was there. I think the wholee difference lies mostly in the laws and the founding principles of the countries.
Okay, I'll keep that in mind. smile
Awwe. It's good he talked about him though. People deserve to be spoken for. sad
Eek!! Such a good song!! biggrin Haha. ♥ You and me go fishin' in the dark. Lyin' on our backs and counting the stars....
I don't even know what beach music is. My city is soo country.....and we go to these (apparently) miserable little lakes to have beach parties. People who know beaches laugh at us.
Haha, only line dancing and a little polka. I'm actually a terrible dancer. smile
and I wish I was adenine so I could be with you. smile
