N.O.W.A.R.

N.O.W.A.R. stands for "Northwestern Opposing War and Racism." When Zen Gentleman Lifeguard first created this mule to post the Battle Suggestion Thread he had just returned from college where he had participated in N.O.W.A.R. (Also the Iraq war was just starting and Zen wanted to make a statement about the invasion).

Is it safe to ask what N.O.W.A.R. stands for? (Or is that a classified Gaia secret, nyao? >^_^< wink

(Quick aside from the Appropriate Ironies department: the verification phrase for me to add this comment was "hearken Armys"! Was that a coincidence, or did you plan that somehow? >^_^< wink

Also, as far as people monitoring suggestions in the BST itself, my guess is that Qixter and his team have garbage trucks that compact everything that's posted in there. Then they probably burn and distill anything useful to them as far as their continuing work on developing the Battle System goes.

Since most of the B.S.T. is volunteer run we mostly count on members to come forward with information. Official announcements are always taken into consideration. But often times we find ourselves catching up with everyone else who is in the dark, mostly because we can't be everywhere at once (even if we have a small army of helpful people coming forward). Also because the site developers and admins have gotten waaaaaaaaaay better at handling their P.R. we're just as ignorant as everyone else is about the real release schedule.
