She's the Sacrifice of one of the two Zero teams. Her Fighter is Sakagami Kouya, whom she falls in love with. Their relationship is a rather rocky one, to say the least. Both know they're in love, but they're scared of it, and of their master, Nagisa, who threatens to get rid of Yamato and replace her. Kouya states that she will have no other than Yamato, and if it's forced upon her, she'd rather die.
