"the physical universe"

There was nothing. The only thing that stood was the vast expanse of darkness. This was the beginning. It had always been there, even long before the concept of time could be created, and it would always be there even long after it was filled.

Within this eternal expanse of naught rose a will. This seeping, burning, writhing desire to fill it's own expanse with something- anything! In that instant the nothingness seemed to shatter with an explosion of light and land. Stars burst forth, burning brightly like lanterns as to shine within the vast galaxies that formed.

The concept of 'self' arose as life began to form, and suddenly this eternal, expanding will which had birthed the cosmos found within herself a name.

She was Adrastei. In a language which belonged to none but herself, she would know it to mean eternal. And so, she knew that she was eternal.

And as this will who knew herself as Adrastei looked upon what she had created,
she found it within herself to bless her shining garden of stars, planets, and life with gardeners to tend to it. Forth came the noble gods of creation and entropy,
fueling the eternal cycle which would run the universe. Forth came the lesser gods of nature and ideas- beings who could guide all life in their journey to understand and hone the worlds they lived in.

To aid these new, blessed gods came the angels who would serve as messengers between herself and the universe.

And so it was. And so she was content.

Name: Adrastei
Titles: The Holy Mother, Mother of the Universe, Her Eminence, Her Radiance, Her Holiness, Mother, Blessed Mother, God of Gods, Lord Highest

Age: Having existed before the concept of time, Adrastei has no age. She is an eternal being in which such concepts bear no significance.

Powers: Adrastei is the god of gods, birther of the ever expanding, eternal universe. She holds power over the very fabric of existence and can bring concepts to reality at her will. Her very command is absolute, her desires are the desires of the universe itself- she is an all-powerful being hidden behind an overly pacifistic, peaceful demeanor.

Note: I do know that she's op! Adrastei is not a main character in the canon I brought her over from, she's a character of worship by my main oc's. I brought her over purely for the fun of interactions between such a sweet character such as herself and your own.

Best described in four words: Calm, benevolent, compassionate, forgiving

Personality: The Holy Mother holds an undying love for the universe and all of her children within. Having been kept within her holy palace for many millions of cycles, she has found within herself a deep desire to go out and meet the different organisms that she might find within her own universe. Adrastei is incredibly polite, though her politeness does naught to withhold the intense curiosity brimming within her. She absolutely adores meeting new people and if left unchecked may fill the entire conversation with questions about her acquaintances.

Because of this abundance of love and adoration for the universe, however, it brings Adrastei great pain to bring punishment down upon others- even those who may wish her harm. The most she may do in a battle is shield herself as to deflect attacks, all while begging for those who'd choose her as an opponent to cease their hateful display. This may bring much trouble for Adrastei in the future, as long as she chooses to continue her tour of this land not part of her own.

More about the Cyclical Universe!

This is the reality that most of my own roleplays take place in. It is the universe created and overall is controlled by the Holy Mother. The name stems from the fact most of the gods and angels refer to time in cycles- that being the amount of time it takes for the first planet to fully form in the universe to decay before being reborn as a new one. However, each planet that takes the original's place may decay under different circumstances, making cyclical measures fairly inaccurate to anyone who cares. The planet's inevitable destruction may take from thousands of millennia to eons upon eons of human years. This makes it difficult to fully measure how old the universe actually is in any measure of time but the cycles. There have been around eighty billion cycles since the creation of this universe, and the newest cycle is beginning to reach it's end.

This universe has billions of galaxies within it's ever expanding reach, with new ones forming even as we speak. Because of this, there are countless different types of civilizations, spanning from medieval-type planets dependent upon magic and myths to advanced empires whose reach has expanded beyond their own planet to control others within their system.

Characters like Jules come from a planet similar to earth, full of modern-day technology with the exception of magic being used in secret. Characters such as Katia come from a world of fantasy where magic is one of the ruling constructs and swordsmen let their blades do the talking. Adrastei does not actually live in a 'world' within her universe, but within the holy palace, a pocket dimension that her universe twists around. Within it can be found doorways to all planets in all galaxies so that her angels and the many vassals found within may have ease of travel in completing their duties.
