Yo, the name is Mion Sonozaki! I suppose the name Sonozaki sounds familiar, huh? I'm sure it does, and that's why I'd prefer to drop the family titles! I'm just Mion, and I couldn't care less about inheriting Hinamizawa. What I do enjoy is competition! I'm the best of the best, and will resort to anything to win! There is no such thing as "cheating", you see, fair is fair, and a fierce competition requires all means necessary! Because if you lose... you'll end up embarrassing yourself! Beware of the punishment game, I always say!

H...hmph, with that aside, I should also mention I have a sister, a twin sister to be exact. She teases me, and annoys me, and messes with everyone in Hinamizawa! That Shion... Can't she give it a rest? Don't be mistaken, either! I'm the innocent one, got that? Shion's the nasty, scheming and cunning one, really! She's also the one who's into all the cute stuff... Not me, though! I'm not very well suited for...that sort kind of thing.
