A Brief Biography
Percy Ignatius Weasley was born in late August, the third of six siblings. He was raised in a poor but loving home, and excelled in both academics and young leadership (such as his position as Head Boy); upon graduating from Hogwarts, he immediately launched a career in the Ministry of Magic. Despite his previous moral mistakes, Percy became a frontrunner in the reworking of the Ministry following the Dark Lord’s downfall, and was later appointed to Secretary of Ministry Affairs. Percy met his wife Audrey in a bookstore while doing research for a review of the Department of Magical Transportation’s rewrite of Magically Enhanced Methods of Muggle Transportation laws. They were married after several months of dating, when Percy was certain his occupational responsibilities would not clash with the starting of a family; Molly Olivia was born just shy of two years into their marriage, and her younger sibling Lucy Octavia was born nearly a decade later.
Percy enjoys epic television dramas based on historical events, antique shopping on weekends, and the occasional tennis lesson. He frequently takes his family on short vacations, including their annual trip to Paris to celebrate his anniversary with Audrey.
