Pearl is a spirited girl that looks up to her cousin, Maya Fey. Deeply affected by the infighting that colored her childhood, Pearl currently pursues an education, like Mia before her, rather than following Maya in the path of a spirit medium. Pearl lives within the city limits, often under the watch of a chaperone from her distant hometown of Kurain, sometimes Maya herself.
Personality: Still friendly, polite, and very clever to those she knows, but somewhat standoffish and aloof among strangers, particularly her teenage peers. While she clings to her naive fairytale dreams, she is quite disciplined and quick to set others on the straight and narrow.
Misc Facts: Pearl is skilled in things both spiritual and physical, combining her spirit medium meditations with martial arts and gymnastics. Her skills seem to lag in trigonometry.
Pearl is still a slow reader, but that doesn't stop her from burning through volumes of her favorite romance and fantasy novels and manga.
Pearl finds a measure of pride in her Japanese heritage, sometimes slipping into Japanese almost natively to impress or harass classmates who otherwise treat her as a novelty. She also displays a furious energy towards the shamisen.
Pearl gets around town on a motorcycle, enjoying the feeling of freedom and movement it gives her.
Friends and Family: She has trouble reconciling with her mother, Morgan, and the family infighting she perpetuated. Pearl looks up to her cousin, Maya, and has also spent a lot of time reacquainting with her half-sister, Iris (though she knows little about Dahlia). She has always admired Phoenix Wright, and is vaguely acquainted with his numerous associates.
Player's Note: Much of Pearl's Japanese heritage and culture is watered down, partly due to the Fey clan's distance to Japan proper in the American localization, and mostly due to the player's own ignorance.
