That's what I try to do, when I can keep my mind off of the worst-case scenario of having my hand bitten. xD;
If not, I just try to avoid them.

Yep! I always get a little nervous when I try to pet animals, because I'm worried they'll freak out on me. XD

I think it's the latter, because there is no way he had a nose strong enough to smell it outside. xD At least, I think so.

That's my problem. xD; For some reason, I always feel like every dog that runs towards me is going to rip my skin off. I know they aren't, but I still feel like running.
Exactly! xD Once, he ran in the house, all the way up to my room, just to lick my food before running back outside.

Yeah, same here. After I had a bad experience with a dog, when I was a kid, it kind of nudged me away from them. sweatdrop
Two dogs, when I was a kid. One was old, but very kind! The other was very hyper, and my family didn't really like him. xD I also had two fish as pets, too.
