About Prince Ombra:

the Lord of Nightmares dispaches vile charms to
blight the suicide's soul,
lash the tyrant's mind with bloody fantasies, and
inspire all fanatic schemes!
Every war, vow of revenge, and human cruelty
is his work!
His eye is the fire of cataclysm, his breath is the
wind of immoral pestilence, and his stench hovers
as shame in the house of fratricide!

His is the poet of the hypocrite's sonnet!
He composes catechisms for inquisitor and
heretic alike!
The blood of Medea's mother-murdered
children is on his head!

The Roman poet called him Umbras, the
shadow the soul sees at birth.
To the Greeks he was Ombras, the thunderstorm...
