There are so many books about me, I almost don't see the point of talking about myself. I'm a journalist; I know the only truth to the public is what's published.

I grew up with a lot of brothers; me and my mum didn't get on very well when I was a teenager, but I always had my dad and my oldest brother Bill there for me when I needed help. Harry and I dated in school, and when he broke up with me, Bill was there with good advice, and my brother Ron was there to call Harry a wannabe spiderman. Dunno where I'd be now if I didn't have my family.

Harry and I got back together after the war, got married. It was a big wedding, but I can't remember why I thought it was a good idea. We had our first son, James Alastor, and struggled for a bit because we hadn't been planning it. I think I was an okay mum, though, and my own mum helped out a lot in those first months. Reckon that's why she spoils Jamie so much now! Albus Severus was a planned child; he was born on my birthday, and I still consider him the best present I've ever gotten. Lily Luna was an accident too, but a good one.

I divorced Harry a couple of years ago after I quit the Quidditch league and started working for the Prophet, and let Al move in with his dad last summer since like me and my mum, Al and I don't get on very well. He's loads more like Harry than he's like me... except that he speaks his mind when it's something important. That's something his dad can't manage.

I'm really busy these days. I've gotten promoted at the Daily Prophet twice in the past three years, and with Jamie's summer Quidditch league and Lily's Little Witches Acting Academy classes on the weekends.. I travel a lot, which is alright with me because I love traveling by broom. Reckon I've been to more countries on assignments than anyone else on staff right now.

Family means a lot to me. Mine might be a little broken, but like my dad's always said, families are built on sad things and it's part of being a strong unit.
