I am I originally from England, lived there till I was 9, moved to San Diego and one year ago I moved from San Diego, California to Austin. Many Texans that I have talked to said that I was crazy to leave!! But I am having a blast, I love it here. The thunder storms are absolutely incredible! The weather is fantastic and the people are so nice and relaxed!... but I still don't have many friends, I work way too much. I live here with my fiancé and my adorable puppies, Charlie the beagle and Bear the grizzly bear/puppy- mix. There is definitely one thing that I have learned, America is massive! And Texas is HUGE!!! That was one heck of a drive... that I hope I will never do alone again. Anyways, I just bought my first house! We are all loving it here. Now that I've been in Austin for one year, I can finally start school again. I actually can't wait! I am really looking forward to meeting more people. I will be starting part time school in the fall, and of course working full time as well to pay the mortgage. Otherwise things are going good and I try and poke around in Gaia to say 'Hi!' to my sisters and such.
