There's an art to driving in Wyoming.
Yesterday my best friend Matty finally took her learner's permit test and passed. She actually only missed three questions. She asked me to go with her and then show her how to drive on the interstate. I scared the crap out of her but I won't explain the details. Let's just say that the interstate between Rock Springs and Green River is a very scary place.
Jeff Foxworthy had it right when he said, "If the I-80 speed limit is MPH-- you're going 90 and everybody is passing you, you're in Wyoming." Matty learned that the hard way today.
Also, these too apply to driving in Wyoming: "If you can drive 75 MPH through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching, you live in Wyoming." "If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow, you live in Wyoming." "If you have more miles on your snowblower than miles on your car, you live in Wyoming."
Actually we haven't had a lot of snow lately around here. Now, last year in the Jackson Hole area yeah. But here? Not now. What you need to worry about is the wind tipping over your car.
