Koca: Toliver's Starter Pokemon. Drowned after a horrible incident involving Team Aqua.
Maya: Toliver's Kangaskhan, in charge of meals and proper bedimes. She is pretty much the team's mother. Her baby's name is Tula.
Baba: Tol's best girl. When he found her on an underwater excavation, she was already fairly old so she's mostly used for companionship. She is rarely used in battles.
Doris: Loaned to Toliver from Melany's dad. Doris is a senior when it comes to excavation work. She's proud of her strength and loves to do most of the heavy lifting.
Trigger: Toliver's Second starter. Toliver found a Claw Fossil one night on his way to visit Koca's Grave. Trigger is in charge of the equipment and setting up camp.
Culler: Culler was rescued when part of the Dark Cave collapsed, though part of his tail was broken off in the process. He's good at sensing dig sites and is usually used as Toliver's pillow.
TwoStep: TwoStep was found frozen as a Swinub at a dig deep within the Ice Path. He's very cautious and always checks to see if the excavation team is wearing proper safety gear.
Backstory:
When Toliver was around 16 years old he was out training with his Spearow, Koca, when a small rogue band of Team Aqua Grunts came upon them and proceed to kick the crap out of him and stuff the Koca into a weighted sack which was then thrown in the river. Moments later a 13 year old Melany rode in on her Rhyhorn and pretty much mopped the floor with them while sending her Dratini into the river after the Koca. Sadly the spearow had already drowned.
Because of the Incident Melany went undercover and sabotaged Team Aqua's plans, continuing to this day.
But Some kids named Brandon and May seem to get all the credit for her work..
Melany and Toliver have been best friends and Rivals ever since.
Because of his lack of Flying Pokemon, Toliver will often call Melany via Pokegear (He is one of only 7 people who have her number) and ask for her to loan him Donnie. She never does, but instead will pack up and bring the whole team to his location, much to the annoyance of her girlfriends.
