The next morning, Yoru was bustling around the room feeding twelve hungry pokemon. The Umbreon had recovered quite nicely over the night and had quite the appetite. "Slow down or you'll choke," Yoru said playfully to the dark pokemon who just kept gobbling its food up. He smiled and shook his head at the hungry pokemon.

Turning away from the happy pokemon, Yoru made his way over to the still sleeping man he had found in the snow. His cheeks were a little flushed thanks to a slight fever, but at least he was nice and warm in bed instead of frozen to death in the snow. The blue-eyed boy put a wet cloth on the other male's forehead, hoping to cool his fever.

Yoru was a little worried since the brunette hadn't woken yet. He was seriously hoping that he would've opened his eyes by now. He sighed and fluffed the man's pillows before going back to the pokemon.

Riolu had finished its breakfast and perched itself on the bedside table, watching the sleeping trainer. Umbreon was soon to follow Riolu, jumping on the bed and curling up beside its trainer. That seemed to be the jolt the man needed to wake up, for he opened his eyes slowly, painfully. He groaned a little, the light too much for his tired eyes.

Yoru smiled happily, glad to see those green eyes wide open. Of course, he shot up into a sitting position smacking his head against Yoru's. Yoru reeled back, grabbing his forehead with tears in his eyes.

"Ow!" they said simaltaneously. All the pokemon stopped what they were doing to watch what their trainers were up to. Absol shook its head and rolled its eyes before going back to its breakfast. Umbreon, on the other hand, jumped into its trainer's face, licking his cheek happily, tail wagging a little.

Wiping away his pained tears, Yoru smiled a little. "I'm glad you're alright, Umbreon!" the brunette spoke, hugging his umbreon happily. The trainer's other five pokemon made their way to the bed, greeting their trainer happily. This only made the man smile wider.

Wanting to give them a moment or two, Yoru went about cleaning up the bowls that he used to feed all teh pokemon, Empoleon helping as best it could. The clanking of dishes seemed to get the other male's attention. He watched the dark haired teen stack the dishes and close the food jars, though most were empty.

At first, he wasn't sure if Yoru was male or female becuase of how feminine his features were. "Thank you," the brunette said after a few moment. Yoru turned to him and smiled. "You don't have to thank me," he said in reply as he finished putting the food away in his bag, "I'm Yoru, by the way."

"My name's Gary," the brunette said, petting his Arcanine affectionately, "And I really do you Yoru. Mabe I can help you get to where ever you're goin?"

"Snowpoint is so far away, though," Yoru said, sitting on the chair beside the heater, Riolu hopping into his lap immediately, "It wouldn't be fair to ask that of you."

"Actually, I was heading that way originally," Gary said, pushing Arcanine off the bed along with one of Dodrio's heads, "I was heading up there to study the pokemon of the lake."

At the mentionof the lake, Yoru looked down sadly, Riolu standing on it's tiptoes to put its paws on the teen's cheeks in a comforting way. "What's wrong?" Gary asked, his brow furrowing at the sudden change in attitude.

"It may be a little while before you get to the lake," Yoru said, petting Riolu's head, "Team Galactic has taken over all three lakefronts, trying to capture the ancient pokemon that live there."

"What?" Gary asked, appalled by the news, "Is anyone doing anything about it?"

"I am, actually," Yoru said, looking up, "Professor Rowen asked me to help him preserve the lakes. Unfortunately, I didn't get to one lake in time. They completely blew it up, leaving all those poor Magikarp beached."

Gary could clearly see that Yoru was saddened by the events happening to the pokemon and their homes. "Then I'll help you," Gary declared, "I'll help you take out those Galactic geeks and save the lakes."

Yoru looked up at Gary, mouth slightly agape. His stunned look turned into a happy grin and he said, "Thank you so much!"
