Second Entry.
I made this my english class. It was based loosely around the characters of "God Child", by Kaori Yuki.
The sun shone above, high in the sky. As a new day came, a new challenge arrived. She sat up in bed and gave a great yawn. “Mary-weather~” a woman yelled from downstairs, “Are you up yet?” She turned her nose up and didn’t reply. She was a peculiar girl. Ever since she was little, she had hated people, so she had become more and more solitary as she grew up. She stayed in her bedroom all day, and the only person she let in was her older brother, Cain. She was almost completely dependent on him and his money, and he knew this fact, and loved her still.
She stood up out of bed and changed into a pink lace sundress. It was the opposite to her personality; cheery, nice, and outgoing. But, she always wore clothing like this when her brother came by. She didn’t like people seeing her actually personality, and she thought that clothing would help her transform her personality. She had a surplus of pink and light coloured clothing, even though her preference was dark colors, especially navy blue and purple.
The principal trait that she had to keep with her at all times was a smile. It was hard for her, but she would have to manage it. She looked around her room, to see the sun shine sneaking through her curtains, embracing all the plants in her room. Every time her brother would come over, he would give her a flower pot with a couple random flower seeds embedded in the soil. He said it was the best soil there was in the world. That it was very fertile- so fertile, you barely had to water it. I suppose he was right, she didn’t water them all that often, maybe 3 times a month, if that, and they had grown up very well.
She heard a knock at the door. “It’s me, Cain!” A male voice yelled at the door. She opened it to see her brother standing there in the door way with a flower pot. “Ah~ That dress is suits you!” He smiled at her, handing her the pot.
