A little over a week ago, my first rat Joshu passed away. He was only 8 months old and we did all we could for him with the vet, pileing up the vet bills in hopes we could save him. But there was nothing we could do as a mass was in his chest. The vet had never done such a removal on a rat, and it was too expensive and high risk for his condition. He was going down hill and I decided to take him to get euthanised last Tuesday. He died the morning before, sleeping with me in bed.
