Agggh. Pardon the last journal entry, for the last effing week I've been sick with stuff. It's annoying. I've got a stomach ache right now that's doing cartwheels (not in the good way) and hopefully I can get through this entry without barfing more than once.

But for the last couple weeks, I've been really busy. I just had my midterms, and after that I really needed to chill after that. Not to mention I'm in the musical "Once Upon a Mattress" (just a chorus member though) and although I was rejected earlier as a dancer but now I was accepted as a (male) dancer because three of the guys dropped out. Which I guess is okay 'cause I already sing as a male in there so dancing as one isn't too different. But mostly I've been trying to chill I have the time. Been watching a bunch of movies to do that (both in the cinema and renting them to watch in my home), and I FINALLY watched Happy Feet! It was one of the greatest movies I've watched recently, along with Freedom Writers, Must Love Dogs and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. heart

That, and I'm addicted to Materia Magica. Teehee~ Which reminds me! HERE IS A TOTALLY SHAMELESS PLUG mrgreen Some really awesomely (nerdy) stuff should be going down in there soon. x3 When I have the time, anyway. sweatdrop

ANYWAY. For the thing most people pay attention to and not my other blog posts (Except for Deppy. I heart you~!) PSSSTTTT. I THINK MY SISTER KOCHAN HAS A MUCH BETTER JOURNAL ENTRY THAN MINE. IT'S TEN TIMES FUNNIER AND MORE AMUSING THAN MINE! SO CHECK HERS OUT!

It kinda sucks actually, I have a playlist on my iPod that says all this stuff, but I lost my iPod recently under the numerous amounts of junk I have in my room. =_= Sob.

Comments: Self-explainitory. XD I'm the dancing queen of my group of friends; I dance any chance I've got. Also, it explains practically EVERYTHING about me, my personality, and my philosophy on life. And isn't that just AWESOME to find in a song? It's also by one of my favorite oldies bands, ABBA, as well as in one of my favorite musicals, Mama Mia! It's a perfect introduction, if I do say so myself~ heart

Comments: I love this song! This was my personal anthem for a while, back when I had a blog called "Another Loser Weblog" (God, I remember loving that title. XD). Full of my philosophies, too, teehee.

Comments: Finally, a somewhat recently made song. XD I'm such an oldies lover. But this song is really awesome, it's got the greatest beat. This is also how I feel when I fall inlove, sort of. ^^; In a funky sort of way, anyway XD It's a love song story ;3 Or is it a love story song?

Track 4: "You Get What You Give" by New Radicals

Comments: Oh gosh, SUCH a good song. I had no idea what it was called for such a long time though, until recently when I popped up on Yahoo! Radio. It's such a good song. It's also another philosophy song, teehee.

Track 5: "Escape" by Enrique Inglesias

Comments: Annnnd this is where the songs get kind of sad. T^T But because I was born Taiwanese-American but raised Latino, I really love Spanish rock and pop almost as much as I love American rock and pop and J-rock/pop. So this is not only representative of how I view love ("Love never fails" - 1 Corinthians) but also my Latina side. Love is a big part of my life (You hear me talk about it all the time, if you talk to me for a good couple hours talking to me) and this sort of is the introduction of the "love" part of my life.

Comments: Another Latina love song~ Selena is a great singer too, BTW, I really love her and I felt so sad when I found out about her murder. ;_; I loved her so much, 'cause I grew up listening to her when I was un pequeña niña. But this makes me think of all the flutterings of the beginnings of love, and really, it is like that for me. I also really love the Spanish solo of this song, it's written beautifully. Totally inlove with the lines, "Imaginado que me amas / como yo podra amar a ti" (Imagine you could love me the way that I could love you). Simple words, but they sound really beautiful in Spanish, teehee. Me encanta muchas x3~

Track 7: "Wo Ai Ni (I Love You)" by S.H.E.

Comments: I forgot I had wanted to put a Taiwanese song in here, haha! Last minute addition~ Representative of my Taiwanese culture and my loving nature, this is song about being very devoted, because wo bu neng mei you ni, jue bu neng mei you ni (it's hard to go on without you). I love the imagery in Taiwanese in here (I'm so sorry I can't really translate it well, and that the only translation I found seems pretty horrible to me =_=). But it's such a beautiful song. S.H.E. is one of my favorite (and only) Taiwanese singing bands, and I love their songs, no matter if they sing in Taiwanese, Mandarin, or Japanese. x3

Comments: All right, all right! I admit it, I'm a Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey fan. Not just together, but as seperate singers, I adore them both. I was inlove with this song and it ALWAYS makes me cry. I feel kind of sad though after they broke up 'cause that meant that all that he promised in this song went null... anyway! This is a sweet song that I really like because this is how I really feel towards all those whom was able to (and still be able to) love so dearly.

Track 9: "Love Is Something" by Mozella
Tidbit: So hard to say things that want to, but I will. I feel so open wide that it's pathetic. It's silly to believe somethings are meant to be, but nothing will ever be if we don't let it. Say you will see me back that way, say you won't lose your faith. I didn't see it coming, I've been so used to running, love is something that I've never known before~

Comments: I really like this song. Another love story song, it's a bit of how I feel whenever things get a bit rough in a relationship. It reminds me of a lot of things that are important in a relationship, like faith and trust. Another philosophy song~

Comments: Everybody knows I love this song @-@ It's my dancing song, my boogie down song, my chillin' song, my get-through-this song, etc. It rocks! I use it for everything. This is probably my number one favorite song no matter what. I use it to recharge, often, if the usual thing doesn't work. And like with "Escape" being the intro of the "love" section of my soundtrack, "Stayin' Alive" is my intro to the "Oh yeah! I'm awesome!" section. whee

Comments: Ahhh, Michael Jackson. I totally agree with Fefe Dobson with her quote, "I swore I was Michael Jackson. Then I found out I wasn't Michael Jackson and it broke my heart." Well, when it comes to this song, anyway. XD But anyway. More oldies and disco! Not as much of a "I'm awesome" as it is "I'M TOTALLY BADARSE!", but it works. ;3 It's another recharge song, as well as a great thing to dance to. Although I embarrass myself plenty while I dance to this song, I guess you could say it's one of those songs I dance to when no one's watching to, teehee. sweatdrop

Comments: ...uhh, I have no clue why this is here, actually. XD But it's an awesome song. It's a total party-in-your-pants kinda song, and it's totally great. x3 Such a fun song.

Comments: Is it obvious that I love disco yet? x3 Totally fun song to dance to as well with a "Reach for it" sorta theme make it a pretty awesome combination. A bit of philosophy is mixed in there too - you can be what you can truly be~~

Track 14: "Night Fever" by the Bee Gees

Comments: And thus is the last track of my soundtrack of life. Good ending, in my opinion. Night is usually symbolic of the end, but this song has a play on words, making the end last. And that's how I hope my life is like. :3 I'll be stretching the end of my life until it comes to me. Besides, it's another disco song! What's not to like about disco songs! Hehe~
