The Unholy Alliance
(Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom) <3
Yesterday was the best day like.. EVER.
First me and Erik (friend) went to school, yes school. Then after a few hours of torture we made our way to the city where we caught a bus over to the Airport. As we only had hand-baggage there wasn't too much trouble with getting into the plane, even though they've really gotten strict lately. This was also the first time I flew.. luckily Erik didn't need to hold my hand, it wasn't too bad. <3 In fact I kind of liked looking down at all the little people. The flight was supposed to last for about 45 minutes, but it only took 30 minutes. Luck is always by my side. whee Then I called Pia (Aurfy) for the first time ever and asked for directions. xd
Later on me and Erik made it to Oslo S (a mall/trainstation) where we met Pia by a lovely christmas tree. Yayfun. Then we decided to go eat a traditional Norwegian meal. So Pia showed us the best kabab restaurant in Oslo. <3 ninja After the nice dinner we headed for the tram and headed over to her house so we could get rid of our baggage before the concert.
Somehow we managed to completely forget about time, and arrived at Oslo Spektrum (a big stadium thingy), 30 minutes too late. Luckily we weren't the only ones, so we got to stand in a big line before some people got to grope us, just in case we were concealing anything. 4laugh The music was BLASTING even from outside of Spektum, and well.. I looooved it.
Lamb of God had played one song when we got there, and the first band Thine Eyes Bleed had played all of theirs. Then again I don't really like them, so it works. LoG really surprised me though, they even had one of the best sounding performances of the evening. Then again that's all because of Spektrum (a bad place to have a metal concert really). Anyway, the moment I had been waiting for arrived. Children of Bodom; Alexi Laiho. OMG! <3 By this time me and Erik had gotten ourselves to the front of the arena, and you all know what that means. Lots of pushing and moshing, but hey, at least it was sweaty. Once In Flames took the stage I started getting a little dizzy, and I kind of felt like fainting. (now that's METAL) So I had to get out of the crowd to buy myself something to drink. We spent the rest of the concert on the sidelines, which wasn't really all that bad. I actually heard and saw the bands better from there. And after a gruesome 30 minute break, Slayer arrived. The main attraction. (for some) Personally I came to see Bodom and In Flames, but it was still a hell of a show. Definately worth every penny I spent on it. <33
After the concert me and Erik had to go find Pia since we lost her just before Bodom came on, but like always it wasn't a problem. 5 minutes top and there she was. Since everyone felt like "kjøttkaker" (meatballs), and since I couldn't hear very much we decided to go home. Bla bla bla for a while and then I got to sleep on some pillows, wasn't that bad.
The trip home SUCKED.. Our plane was delayed, there was turbulence, it had started raining, the bus left just before we go to the airport and yeah.. I was supposed to be home at 4 PM, but I didn't get home till 7 PM. That didn't really bother me though, I still had an awesome time. <33
[I forgot to take pictures, sorry. There's a few of me with gloves, I'll make sure to upload them a bit later. Just enjoy Alexi for now]

I thought he was just a random female when I first saw him. I'm not incredibly observant.
