Oh friends how I love you
As the days pass with the rising and setting of the sun
I fall asleep with the memories of you lingering in my mind
Here are dear friends that I have come to love
We joke together, are sad together, and hug each other
You make me happy and cheer up my day
You are my river and I am the sailboat
You carry me into a night of stars
I breathe my wish into the crisp night air
As you gently rock me to sleep
Dreams of happiness surround me as I pursue my paradise knowing you will be there to great me with a hug and a bright smile
