Okay, so I've finally done it. I've joined the world of online blogging and other personal commentary nonsense. Heck, I don't even have a webpage of my own, though I've been meaning to create one (in my own defense, I did start one a few months back, but I've yet to complete it).
Anyway, here's what I do: I knit. A lot. Seriously. There's a ball of yarn and a set of #10 dpns sitting on my computer desk right now. There's also a pattern for a cabled headband that I'm going to start working on just as soon as I convince myself to get up and look for the correct sized needles. I've started my Christmas presents - some fluffy cuff mittens, of which three pair are now finished. I've got a thing for fingerless gloves at the moment and there's this really cool scarf with a DNA helix on it that I'm meaning to make for my brother.
Lemme see, what else? Oh, I've been aspiring to improve my photography skills. Only problem being that I really want one of those new-fangled digital SLRs and I can't afford one right now. So, I make do with my Nikon N70 and hope the pictures turn out when I get the film developed.
I've got a couple of journals I kept while I was on my honeymoon last November that I'll be plonking up here at some point. I've also recently come back from the Smoky Mountains and I'll post my journal about that experience, too.
What else do I do? I write. I may or may not post some of my writing here. I'm a little sensitive about it and not so egotistical that I think the world needs to see it.
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. There's plenty more but I'll get to it in time, I'm sure.
