Have you ever had to choose between two things, but were scared to choose in fear of hurting someone? You wish that you could see into the future and see what would happen depending on which choice you made. Then you would choose the best choice possible or the one that worked out the most. You would never make any mistakes and you would never hurt anyone and you would be content with your choice. This seems like the solution for any kind of choice. It could work with something as simple as picking a cd over another cd. It could work with something as complex as picking a persons life over another persons life.
But you know what? Life dosen't work that way. Everyone wishes life didn't have choices. That life was all planned out for you so you could just live life, never hurt people, and not have to worry about choices at all. Life would just be so easy and simple if only we didn't have choices.
When you make the right choice, it seems as if everything just fell into place and that you won some grand prize. You feel on top of the world and so content with your choice. You feel as if nothing can ever hurt your happiness. Your happiness is permanent in your mind. You feel just dandy.
Then if you make the wrong choice, your life crumbles into pieces right before your eyes. You don't know what to do next. You feel trapped and like you can never make a right choice again. You don't know what your next move is and you can't remember how you made such a bad choice. You beat yourself up about it until you have no self-confidence left. Your so trapped you feel there is no going back now. You got yourself into the mess. Now you have to move on if life or sit and wallow in self pity. Most people choose to wallow in self pity because it seems the easy way out.
But in the end it isn't. You will never move on. You have to learn from your mistakes and move on to the next thing. Just because you made a wrong choice one time dosen't mean you will make it again.
But then there is the chance you will make that mistake again. That's when it really hits you. That's when you start to wallow in self pity. You are not able to build yourself up again. It's over. That's what you tell yourself. It's over. I can't do anything any more.
What I have to say to those in this stage in life, is to take a step back, realize the good things in life and concentrate on the future. Stop looking at the past and just move on. Staying in one stage won't help you at all. All this does is hurt you. I'm just so tired of seeing all these "emo" kids, we call them, wallowing in self pity. Really, life can't be that bad. For those who life is that bad, I'm sorry. But everyone goes through a lot of s**t in life, but you have to learn to let go and move on. You have got to understand that life isn't as easy for some people as it is for others. But we all make it through for the most part. But those you just put on the "emo" act because the want attention and want everyone to feel sorry for them. Stop. Please. It drives me carazzzyyy! For seriously. s**t happens. Get over it.
Some people may have more than you have. But it dosen't mean that you don't have things or abilities than they have. You just have to realize that. And once you do...your good to go. (hehehe..taco bell)

"And now I have to confess the unpardonable and the scandalous. I am a happy man. And I am going to tell you the secret of my happiness. It is quite simple. I love mankind. I love love. I hate hate. I try to understand and accept." --Jean Cocteau
