After Gerard and Mikey were done looking through Felicia and Sammy's CDs, they asked to look at Drew's. Drew lauhed at their enthusiasm, and nodded quickly. "Hey Drew, where are Gerard and Mikey staying? I mean, which dorm are they staying in?" Felicia asked. "I'm not sure," he responded as he pushed a few strands of hair out of his face. I think they're staying in the Black Roses dorm though." "Really? Well if they are, they're going to make a lot of friends fast." The Black Roses dorm house was one of the biggest dorm houses. The only other dorm bigger then it was the Black Gothic dorm house, which was where Felicia's dorm was. Unfortunately, since this school was so big, and sprawled over so many miles, the Black Roses dorm was all the way over on the other side of the school. It was hard to get there without a ride. "Yeah, I'm guessing they will," Drew said as he glanced over at the two guys. "Hopefully they'll feel right at home here." He looked off in the distance wistfully. Or as far as he could look which was the door. His eyes looked far away as if lost in a memory. He seemed so sad! 'I wonder what happened to him to make him so sad,' she thought. 'I wish he would tell me.' Drew never talked about his past as much as he could. He was probably trying to run away from it as much as she was trying to run away from hers. "You know," she said softly. "I ran away from home, or rather I should say my parents kicked me out when I "changed". They just didn't get it. They just didn't get me." She smiled sadly. "They don't even know I'm here. I don't think they even care." He looked at her, astonished. "Don't say that!" he said even more softly. "I'm sure they care about you and would want to know where you are. Why do you hate them so much?" "Because they're ignorant fools," she snapped. Then she hung her head, angry at herself for snapping at him. Her long black, red, electric blue, and neon purple streaked hair covered her face. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I didn't mean to snap at you." "It's okay," Drew said sympathetically. "I used to think that way too about my parents. Then I learned to hating people who thought I was a freak. I pitied them instead, which might've been worse." He laughed bitterly and ran his hands through his hair. As he talked Felicia noticed his face grew sadder and sadder. "I don't think I'll ever learn to stop hating," she said, lifting up her head to look into his eyes. "You will," he said. "I know for a fact that you will, Felicia." "Yeah," she said wearily, "I'm sure you're right, Drew. Thank you." "For what?" he asked, clearly puzzled. "For everything," came her reply. She smiled. He grinned too. "Well, you're welcome," he answered.
