It's been a long time and longer still it will be.
Every day passing mindlessly, tick tocking away with the hands of the ever growing clock.
Where do we stand in all this truly; is there an end to it all?
If men are to bear all they've done under oath then i too am guilty.
But don't stand me on trial for crimes of perpetuity.
The life I live now is because of the road i traveled; not in spite of it.
The words i carve out now breathe life in me still.
Hear my breath utter nuisances and trivialities so circumspect as to be officious.
But its still the hammer hammer hammer i crave
Key on worn out key and pound on silver pound
wrought my flesh and brought your pound sir.
My daily sacrifice is done.
