Poetry: GRA'AW! (RE EDIT)
It's darkness crept quietly into my mind.
Said nothing till after I was drained inside.
Hours it had laid into my fort
and fought too keep its post.
Yet it rejects to leave the nest
my body, the host filled with void.
Meditation of cleansing mind
challeneged strength with all my might.
Smoke the house, push the tide,
it swift behind thoughts too hide.
I was told to tell it to leave
because the demon got a hold on me.
I demand ye out of me
I say leave and never return to me.
Heard its howl much like growl.
Loud into my sinking thoughts
sent shivers up and down.
Fear struck my pounding heart
but embrace that I did my part.
Ready into my goodnight sleep
with tired eyes and into dreams.
Though quietly into that late night dream
a vision of a smoldering black smoke
spoke in old crackling whispering voice.
As speeding over ripple waters into mind it said
"You made a promise" to me.
Husky and cheeky evil sound made me
jolted into knowledge awakened reality.
