All right.
Time to get up.
Time to lift myself up from the ground and pull myself together.
Pity party's over.
Looked into the future, the thing I dreaded to do in the past 3 months, and it doesn't look so bad.
Even if I won't get my retakes, I still have enough to fill in for this year.
Even if I won't pass half this semester as well, I can muster enough time to do so.
Turns out it ain't the end of the world.
I haven't failed completely.
I don't need a complete retake.
I was a fool to think I can get by without help. Without the system being notified of my special needs and accommodating them.
Whether this is a problem on its part or it means I'm lazy and stupid, guess I'll never know.
Bottom line is, I'm in this to get my goddamn biochem degree, not to prove myself to anyone.
Took me long enough. But perhaps it is not too late to salvage what remains of this year.
Worst case scenario, there is always next year.
And at not even 22 years old yet, I have that time. I hope.
Tell el cancer, miss diabetes and the vascular diseases gang to wait a decade or two, would ya?
