Palms sweating.
Hands shaking.
Hearts beating.
Pulses racing.
Minds in a whirl,
as butterflies twirl.
Asking ourselves, "is this a dream? Or is this all real?"
I smile.
You smile.
Eyes meet.
Hearts lock.
We hold the moment,
for what seems like forever,
not wanting the feeling to stop.
And with a few words,
ones i'll always remember,
I can finally say we're together,
