They found him.
It was inevitable. He'd already calculated the risks and realized he didn't really give a s**t or felt too much in danger. The reason they even wanted him was all because of something he didn't do, had no knowledge of, and wouldn't even give enough of a s**t to do in the first place, and even then the worst that could happen is he has to run out again and evade capture long enough to crash at a station until it all blew over.
It only took a few minutes in low orbit for them to get his coordinates. With another on board he couldn't just take off; her complaining and screaming in his ear would've gotten really tedious after about a half minute. Riddle wasn't given to panicking or worry; he'd left that behind years ago. The alien had glimpsed the "WARNING: CRAFT IN NEARBY PERIMETER -- RELOCATE TO AVOID CRASH" alarm on the ship's nav system with a sort of bitterness and a knowledge the game was finally up.
So they've found him. And he's trapped.
Nothing else to do but wait.
