(Don't mind the rant, sorry if its annoying) So, recently noticed on a youtube video i was watching that people were posting hateful comments to the person doing the video because of the way they talked. Seriously?! What is the point of posting rude, hurtful comments to someone over the internet? Does it make you feel tough or cool? Does it make you feel big to hide behind your keyboard and make others feel bad about themselves? Honestly, why? Why would someone do that to another human being, whether you know them personally or not? It's bullying, the same as spreading nasty rumors about people at school, ridiculing others behind their back, saying hurtful things to someones face. Why do you have to be mean to people? How much harder would it have been to just keep your mouth shut? Or think of something nice and uplifting to say? Constructive criticism could help them and still allow you to say that you disliked what you viewed, and then no one would have been hurt or offended. Besides, if you dislike the person who's video, facebook page, twitter page, instagram pic, etc, that your viewing, why are you viewing it. Just use that handy little home button and click away, or click the X or block the post. You don't have to have anything to do with them, but seriously, you should think twice about how your angry comments affect someone before you post them. Just think about it, please? It'll make the internet a much nicer place to hang out on.
