My first console was the SNES and I started gaming at the age of 7. Mario, Donkey Kong, SF and TMNT were my friends for over the summer. On moving over to the Dark Side *cough* Sony, I got my own PS1. Being unaccustomed to watching television for long periods of time I was limited to 2 hours for the most because of my eyes...dammit. Those were the golden days when 2 player gaming really made me feel great(owning feels good does it not?) Friends would come over, have a blast. The usual story. Fast forward to the PS2. Having not much friends who were into gaming or possessed a console on a whole, I had to rely by ear to catch the gist of all the popular games that people were playing( Internet? what's that?). I missed out on a lot of thrilling classics as a result. Not too long I was introduced to emulators, specifically Mame32 and Project 64. I was catching up on a generation I had no clue about. My parents were not exactly pleased with my being a gamer so it was up to me to purchase my own games and consoles. Took 2 long years of dreaming and restraint to finally scrounge up the cash buy a PS3 (I love you fattie, RIP).
