So! I like to think of myself as an artist. I write, I draw, I want to do one or both of those things for a living one day. But here's my problem: If I want to be a professional author/artist/whatever, I need people to actually look at my work. Here's something that happened recently when someone saw me drawing:
Me: *sitting there drawing a dragon*
Person: Hey, that's pretty good.
Me: Guh...Uh...Er...Thanks!
Person: You got any more like it that I could see?
Me: Er, no, nothing good really. (Actually, I was drawing in a near-full sketchbook. Most of the drawings were the same quality work as the dragon I was drawing, and many of them were also of dragons.)
So yeah. I kinda need to get used to sharing my work.
